Questions and answers

Why KZTIN if I have an NTIN?

An NTIN is enough for regular trade. Public procurement supplies list both codes.

How long does it take?

Moderation reviews regulated procurement applications within up to 10 working days.

Who has to work with the catalogue?

The requirements apply to all trade participants. The transition period for small and micro businesses ended on 1 July 2026.

Where is the NTIN needed?

The code is used on till receipts, e-invoices and customs declarations, and in product accounting.

How long does moderation take?

Published timelines are up to 3 working days for regular trade and up to 10 working days for regulated public procurement. If there are comments, we correct the data and resubmit.

What do you need to get started?

Send your product list in any convenient form: Excel, a price list or an invoice. We will review it and tell you what is missing.

Is the catalogue the same as product marking?

No. The catalogue is a directory of products with codes, while marking applies to certain product types and uses its own identification means.
